Here we are in what some choose to call a new decade. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a New Year that brings you lots of happiness and stitching time! Wow, we have so many exciting classes to offer as well as lots of popular ones we have offered before.

MACHINE QUILTING BEGINNERS |

 This is the class you have been waiting for. Judie will take you through free motion quilting as well as using your walking foot effectively.
There is some preparation to be done before this class so you can spend the whole day learning the techniques.

ROTARY CUTTING INTERMEDIATE |
|
 For those who have done Judies's Rotary 101 class this one will take you to the next level. Do not miss this class. Judie will show you how to maximise the use of your rotary cutter, quilting ruler and cutting board, quick methods for creating pieced blocks. Judie's classes are very addictive as she is such an inspiring tutor and her classes are often booked out before we can even advertise them.

This class is a must for any patchworker. Judie is an expert on teaching you to work with colour. She will take you through all the combinations and help you to understand why colours work together. After this class you will come away feeling so much more confident with your colour choices. Judie does insist that the class requirements are as specified so everyone has exactly the same colour wheel and value finder..

|  Before Christmas last year Fiona's hubby Michael bought a 1976 pop up caravan.He was very excited with his new purchase.Fiona got excited about making Scrap quilts for camping.She has started a theme with her teaching quilts for this year."The Bluebell Caravan Collection". Each family member gets a quilt and the first one is Michael's Ladder.This quilt is based on a traditional block using fat 1/8th's.

Jenny is a master Crazy Patchworker. Her work is just superb. This is a beautiful gentle art where the rule is if you think you have embellished enough add more! Each month she guides a group of ladies to extend their Crazy Patch skills. Join this group and have Jenny support you with this lovely technique.

TUITION- half year membership fee $60 per group,

Join our Little Monsters Club and each month ( over 9 months) get a new Little Monster until you have a whole quilt. Now all you have to do is pay $20 membership fee. Bring in your completed block in on either the 3rd THURSDAY or SATURDAY of the month between 9.30am and 12.30pm and receive the pattern for the next one FREE.

| SYLVIA'S BRIDAL SAMPLER CLUB |
| 
With the success of the Jennifer Chiaverini Elm Creek novels we have decided to start a Sylvia's Bridal Sampler Club. This is the quilt the Elm Creek quilter's made for the character Sylvia in the books.
Similar in style to the Dear Jane quilt but with 6.5" blocks.
Just purchase your copy of the book from us for $64.95 and come along on the 4th Thursday of the month from 9.30am - 12.30pm and start making the block of your own choosing.We are not going to be precious about this. You can either machine stitch or hand stitch your blocks or a mix of both.
We are planning that this will be a self mentoring group but of course the staff are always happy to give help and advice.
Make this quilt in any colour combination you choose even Asian prints if that is your thing!

Join this hand stitching Block of the Month and come along on the last Friday of the month to get on with your stitching. This club is free just bring along your Pie Quilt hand sewing requirements and your rotary cutter. We'll have our large cutting mats out for you to use.
Each month with your Block of the Month (Designed by Sue Daley from Patchwork with Busy Fingers) for $36.95
you will receive papers and fabrics to complete 10 blocks.Come along and we'll give you lots of tips to help you along the way. Our classroom is a lovely light space and is of course airconditioned. A great place to spend some time stitching with like minded ladies.
We hope to start another of Sue's lovely quilts as the year progresses too.

| ANGELS'A'STITCHING friendship group |
|  3rd Thursday of the month Come alone or bring a friend and enjoy stitching in our class room. We charge $5 per person which goes into our piggy bank to go to Juvenile Diabetes Research.
There is no tutor available at this time but the girls are always happy to give advice where they can. This group is for hand sewing. That way we don't have to limit numbers. What a great way to catch up with friends or even for those who are on holidays or passing through our lovely Sunshine Coast. We are always happy for anyone to use our class room at no charge for pinning a quilt subject to classes. Have a chat to us about this.

Booking Into A Workshop: We are happy to take your booking by telephone 5477 0700.Once we have received your 50% deposit you are assured of a place. At least 1 week before your class come in and pay the balance of your fees and recieve your requirements list.
If we need to cancel the class, deposits will be fully refunded.
Please be aware that deposits are
non-refundable if you cancel your booking.
We always love to help with selecting fabrics for your class and you will enjoy your class more if you are well prepared beforehand..
We encourage you to label your belongings clearly to avoid confusion. Well that's it I think. Make sure that if you are on a waiting list to pay you deposit so your place in the class is secured. My, what a huge list that is but it does go all the way through to June. Be sure to book early so you don't miss out.
Of course we also have the Kellie Wulfsohn workshop in March which is sold out but we have booked her for another workshop in October. So you can pop your name on the expressions list for that.
We have booked the Monica Poole Trunk Show for May of all her new clothing patterns. More on that later.
We are hoping Sue Daley can fit us into her busy schedule for a Trunk Show sometime in the first half of the year too ( She's teaching in Holland at the moment).
Oh, and don't forget the Quilter's Trail in APRIL we are planning a bus on the 23rd and 30th of April.More on that later too but you can pop your name on the 1st refusal list.
Also we are thinking of a challenge sometime this year and more on that later too.
